Use KejaYetu safely and fairly.
KejaYetu is a property discovery, advertising and moving-planning marketplace. It is not the owner, landlord, estate agent, valuer, lawyer, bank or moving company for a listing unless explicitly stated.
Accounts and listings
- Agent registration may be free and instant, but KejaYetu may suspend accounts or listings that appear fraudulent, duplicate, misleading, unlawful or unsafe.
- Advertisers must have authority to advertise a property and must provide materially accurate information.
- Auto-published does not mean “KejaYetu Verified”. Verification is a separate trust label.
- Do not upload another person’s photos, documents or contact details without the right to do so.
House seekers
Always verify availability, the advertiser’s identity and authority, the exact property, fees and payment instructions. Inspect the property where practical and use traceable payment methods. Never pay merely because someone is pressuring you.
AI and estimates
KejaYetu AI can help shortlist homes and calculate planning budgets. Its recommendations, commute assumptions, move-in calculations and mover estimates are not guarantees, professional advice or binding quotations. Final prices and availability must be confirmed directly.
Movers and third parties
Mover profiles and external/public-web results may link to independent third parties. KejaYetu does not control their services or guarantee their statements. A “Verified” badge means KejaYetu performed the checks it describes at that time; it is not a guarantee of future conduct.
Prohibited use
- Fraud, impersonation, fake or duplicate listings, unlawful discrimination, malware, phishing or harvesting personal data.
- Requests for payment before a normal verification/viewing process where the circumstances indicate a scam or unsafe transaction.
- Attempts to interfere with the site, evade safety controls or access another user’s account.
Moderation
KejaYetu may automatically screen content and may remove, limit or hold content for human review. Safety systems can make mistakes; use the Contact page if you believe a decision should be reviewed.
Liability
Use of the marketplace is at your own judgment. To the extent permitted by law, KejaYetu is not responsible for losses caused by third-party fraud, inaccurate listings, failed transactions, property condition, mover performance or decisions made solely from AI estimates.
